A Passenger Service Agent is a representative of the airline. They are all airport staff members who welcome passengers at check-in desks and boarding gates. Before the flight, the Agent verify the tickets, identity papers and luggages conformity. They solve potential issues and inform passengers about their flight. For this reason they are permanently in contact with local authorities such as border police, civil aviation institutions, various airline services as well as those of flights management. It is also their role to take care of flight connections by facilitating formalities and passengers follow-up. Among the training prerequisites to become Passenger Service Agent, a A-level is required for your application. Training sessions are proposed all year long in aviation schools such as the ESMA Aviation Academy. Students must be 18 years-old minimum and provide a clean police record to take up a position as intern in an airline and then to work right after the training.
